Children learn best through play. Play also provides a way for children to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be too difficult to communicate verbally or to even comprehend otherwise. Your child can more naturally express themselves and show you what they have learned through play.

- Your child will benefit from our sand tray, therapeutic games, and more -

Work with us to strengthen your parent-child relationship and help your child recognize or express their experiences and needs in a way that feels most secure and controlled. Young children prepare for life’s responsibilities and work out problems through symbolic representation in play. Our licensed mental health professionals therapeutically use play to help your child learn to cope with difficulties by engaging in specific and structured interactions with you!

Play Therapy addresses many areas of difficulty:

Grief & Loss

OCD

Social Anxiety

Family Conflict

…and more

ADHD & sustained attention

Adjustment

Anxiety & Depression

Behavioral Challenges

Divorce and Separation

“You see a child play, and it is so close to seeing an artist paint, for in play a child says things without uttering a word. You can see how he solves his problems. You can also see what's wrong. Young children, especially, have enormous creativity, and whatever is in them rises to the surface in free play.”
