+ How do I know if I need therapy?

There are many reasons to seek therapy, but here are just a few to give you an idea:

  • To learn and grow during times of stress and emotional pain
  • If you're feeling stuck and overwhelmed
  • Panic attacks and impairing fears

  • Long-lasting irritability, anger, guilt, or shame
  • Constant worries or obsessions

+ How much does therapy cost?

We want to make it easy for you because starting therapy can be hard enough.

  • We accept most insurance and will check your benefits to see what your co-pay will be
  • We also accept self-pay rates
  • Options for financial relief to those in need through sliding scale and deeply reduced rates are available

+ How long and often are sessions? What can I expect during a session?

First session is usually 60 minutes and we talk about privacy policies, what you are looking for help with, the types of treatment that is recommended for your needs, how we can build a trusting relationship, and any barriers that may get in the way of that. We encourage you to ask us quetsions to so we can both confirm it is the right fit us.

Other sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes, during which time concerns are processed and worked on.

Weekly session are typically scheduled to start off.

More frequent sessions may be requested by the client or requested by the therapist if more time is needed to address and work on on the treatment needs.

Ending therapy When you achieve your treatment goals, the process of termination occurs. This means that less frequent sessions are planned by you and your therapist to ensure a fluid transition out of treatment.

+ Is information discussed in session kept private?

  • Yes, we follow strict privacy and security policies based on federal/state laws and ethical standards.

  • Confidentiality is our standard so that you as the client can control access and disclosure of information.

  • Insurance companies require certain information about the client in order to provide coverage, but it's your choice if you want to use insurance.

  • Self-Pay options are availble if you do not want to provide information to insurance companies.

+ What do I need to bring to my first session?

Bring a valid ID and an insurance card if you choose to use it. That's it!

We will provide you with a form to complete when you arrive. If you chose, you can also print this form from our website and fill out before hand.
