Professional Bio.

Jean is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience in private practice, high school settings, and community mental health settings. She works with diverse populations and welcomes equity and inclusion. Her empathic approach ensures a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to process emotional challenges. She collaborates with clients to work toward gaining a deeper understanding of their functionality and develop adaptive coping strategies.

Jean works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Jean is a psychodynamic clinician who draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Person-Centered Therapy in her modality of practice. She obtained a Master's in Counseling and Psychotherapy from the Institute for Clinical Social Work. Jean also obtained a Grief Support Specialist Certification from the University of Wisconsin.

Jean’s strong clinical training, years of experience, and powerful ability to develop meaningful and successful therapeutic relationships with her clients will help you reach your personal treatment goals.
