Professional Bio.
Katie helps individuals who feel like they’re holding everything together on the outside while silently struggling on the inside. Many of the individuals she works with are the dependable ones, the fixers, the high performers, yet beneath the surface, they feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained. They’re so used to existing in the “I’m fine” facade that it feels scary to admit they’re not. Katie offers a compassionate, grounded space to finally set the mask down and explore what’s underneath it.
Her approach is warm, human, and grounded in true connection. She helps clients understand the patterns that keep them stuck in patterns with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or pushing through, and supports them in choosing a life that feels more aligned and less performative. Whether someone is ready to dive in or needs time to build trust, Katie meets them where they are and supports growth in a way that feels safe and doable.
Katie works with those navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, low self-worth, trust wounds, and major life changes. Therapy with her is about finding relief from the pressure to hold it all together, reconnecting with who you are, and learning how to feel supported instead of alone. You don’t have to wait for things to get worse. You deserve care now.
Katie earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and has experience supporting adolescents and adults in schools, universities, rehab settings, and private practice. She is licensed in Illinois (LCPC), California (LPCC), and North Carolina (LCMHC), and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), an Associate Partner Trauma Therapist (APTT), and EMDR-trained.
