Professional Bio.
Terry-Ann Adjmul, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with over ten years of experience. She obtained two doctoral degrees: Ph.D. from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Psy.D. from Adler School of Professional Psychology. She has extensive experience and training in the mental health assessment of children and adults. Dr. Adjmul’s goal is to help bridge the gap between the cultural, environmental, and biological factors that impact the development and adaptive skills of individuals across the lifespan. She specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental delays, learning differences, genetic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral problems, trauma, and adjustment disorder. Dr. Adjmul has also organized and conducted positive parenting seminars, and psychosocial workshops. She enjoys assisting individuals and families to better understand themselves and each other.
Dr. Adjmul’s additional experience includes working with international organizations such as UNICEF to develop culturally appropriate psychological assessment measurements and promote mental health awareness across cultures. Dr. Adjmul has conducted international needs assessment evaluations, worked with former child soldiers in Sierra Leone, and children with special needs in Morocco.
Dr. Adjmul also has a strong interest in clinical research and advocacy.
