Professional Bio.
Gretchen earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University after spending more than two decades in the television industry. Her professional and personal experiences provide a unique perspective on navigating stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions with empathy, authenticity, and compassion.
Gretchen works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, personality disorders, attention and behavioral difficulties, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Having balanced the demands of a high-pressure career while raising children, she understands the impact stress can have on emotional well-being and the importance of creating space for healing and growth.
She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to support each client’s individual needs and goals. Gretchen believes in helping clients identify their strengths as an integral part of the healing process while also developing a deeper understanding of themselves and creating a life aligned with their values.
