You may be lonely because you feel disconnected from people and lack meaningful, supportive relationships while quarantine is in effect.
When that goes on too long, it can lead to increased feelings of sadness and rejection, which can stop you from reaching out to others. There’s no
one-size-fits-all solution to the problem of loneliness; however we invite you to participate in group therapy if
you feel that you cannot tackle the isolation and loneliness on our own. Take the step to improve your mental health by
getting connected from the privacy of your own home and safety of a virtual meeting!
Dr. Anna Basov, Pys.D. and Eliza Marotte, M.A. will
co-lead this group to provide you with the human connection and interaction that you have been seeking and missing due to the current COVID-19 quarantine. We will help you
manage your anxiety, cope with your fears, and decrease isolation! Learn from others going through the same thing and from our highly trained
therapists leading the group session! This therapy group is different from social media groups that may provide some social support but often only increase anxiety and fears due to
the style of communication and unchallenged fears and hysteria that is going around! Connect with our professional and trained therapist, and others who are seeking the same thing you are:
support, human-connection, information, and decreased anxiety during times of quarantine.
Join Sarah Schroeder, MS, MSW, LCSW to get the support and relief
you need while your child is napping or set up with an activity.
